Rob Chen

Rob is a Venture Partner of Novo Tellus Capital Partners. He has more than 25 years of experience including senior operating roles across several technology and information services sectors ranging from Enterprise Software and Payments to HR Tech, and Communications. Rob has been part of companies at different stages of development from private VC-backed startups to Fortune 500 public companies.

In previous appointments, Rob was Chief Marketing Officer of CEB through its acquisition by Gartner. He was a SVP at First Data post its LBO, and held several executive roles including VP Marketing for Small Business and Head of Global Client Strategy at Visa both pre and post its IPO. Earlier in his career, Rob drove the launch and growth of Siebel System’s (now Oracle) SaaS CRM offering as a senior marketing and product leader and was an early employee of Salesforce.com. Rob also has experience as executive, CEO, and advisor/board member in earlier stage companies.

Rob holds an BS. in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
